1 small onion, chopped (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package (16 oz.) frozen Tater Tots
1 can (10.5 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
2/3 cup 2% milk, or whole milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 350°.

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer burger to a mixing bowl stir in tater tots. Combine soup and milk and pour over beef mixture. Then mix in cheese (leaving some out for last minute bake topping.)

Bake, uncovered, 30-40 minutes or until bubbly. Add cheese topping and place back in oven for 5 minutes to melt cheese. Dinner is served!
